Joseph McInerney
Cardinal Growth, LP

Joe's entire career has been dedicated to working with small to mid-size businesses. He began his career in 1985 as a Small Business Consultant for Arthur Andersen & Company. His responsibilities included financial/tax planning and preparation of business plans for small, closely held businesses. From there, he worked for two high-net-worth families serving in a variety of operational and investment capacities. Joe has been a successful private equity investor since 1993. His investment experience has covered a wide variety of industries, including printing, aviation, lumber products, agribusiness, construction materials and equipment rental. Joe is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign) and a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business.

Mark Zweig
Vice Chairman, ZweigWhite

With more than 25 years in the industry, Mark knows A/E/P and environmental consulting firms inside and out—first as a design firm manager, then a principal in an ENR 500 A/E firm, and then as the founder of ZweigWhite. In addition to his work with ZweigWhite, Mark teaches entreprenuership at the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. Mark received both his MBA and B.S. degree in Organizational Behavior from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois. He was named to the SIU-C College of Business Hall of Fame in 1992, elected to the College of Business Board of Advisors in 1999, and named Chairman of the Advisory Board in 2002.

Dick Ryan
President & CEO, ZweigWhite

Dick Ryan has built a number of business information companies throughout his career. During the 1990s he was the president of Financial Communications Company, a San Francisco based investor relations communications and media firm. At Financial Communications Company he was responsible for the integration of two separate business publishers into one operating company. In the late 1990s he was a member of the start up team at business-to-business internet pioneer, B2B Works, the first online network of business information web sites, e-newsletters and databases. He is a graduate of Northwestern University, with a degree in economics and political science; additionally he studied journalism at Marquette University's Graduate School of Journalism.

Fred White
Executive Vice President, ZweigWhite

Fred White is the co-founder of ZweigWhite. He has been involved in the creation and delivery of many of the product and services provided by the firm today, including management consulting, executive search, research products, books, newsletters, and online products. As a management consultant to A/E/P and environmental consulting firms, Fred has extensive experience in firm mergers and acquisitions, information systems and operations, marketing strategies, market research, and high level executive search. He received his B.F.A. degree from Emerson College in Boston.

Scott E. Chappell
BIA Digital Partners

Scott is a member of BIA Digital Partners Investment Committee and joined the firm in 2001. Prior to joining the BIA Digital Partners, Mr. Chappell was a member of the Media and Telecommunications Corporate Finance team at Thomas Weisel Partners, a San Francisco-based merchant bank with over $2 billion in capital. Previously, Mr. Chappell was an investment banker with First Union Securities (Now Wachovia Securities), working in the High Yield and Private Placement Groups. Mr. Chappell holds a B.S. of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia, where he graduated with honors, and a MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where he was a Fuqua Scholar.

Jeff Blumberg
CFO, ZweigWhite

Mr. Blumberg joined Zweig White Information Services in January 2003. Mr. Blumberg has twenty four years experience in financial and management operations. Mr. Blumberg has extensive experience in financial negotiations including debt and equity facilities, customer contracts, risk management plans, strategic alliances, and mergers & acquisitions. In 1990, Mr. Blumberg was appointed Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cass Communications, Inc., a national advertising and publishing firm. He was responsible for all financial and human resource operations. He implemented finance and expense controls that allowed for consistent double-digit revenue growth while at the same time reducing operating and general expenses. Mr. Blumberg managed all merger and acquisition activity, which included the successful multi-million dollar acquisition of a national publishing company. In 1999, Mr. Blumberg with four other associates started Thunderbolt Capital Corp. This venture capital and investment banking firm funded start up companies in such industries as biotechnology, manufacturing, sales and marketing, and technology. Mr. Blumberg has sat on many Boards of Directors and is a CPA in the state of Illinois. He has a B.S. in Accounting and has an M.B.A. with a concentration in finance. Mr. Blumberg also has investment licenses series # 7, 24, 27, and 63.
