Eligibility is limited to firms based in the United States or Canada that derive the majority of their revenues from the practice of architecture, engineering, planning, environmental consulting, or allied disciplines. Design/Build firms, that provide both design and construction services are also eligible. Firms are ranked according to their three-year growth rate in gross revenue with 50% of the ranking based on percentage growth and 50% based on dollar growth. The firms with the best combined scores are the winners on The Zweig Letter Hot Firm List and are recognized at The Zweig Letter Hot Firm Conference held every October.
