At HOK (Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum) Sport (now called Populous) in Kansas City, Steve Evans, AIA served as Senior Project Manager for major sports facilities such as Progressive (formerly Jacobs) Field (Cleveland, Ohio), Bank of America (formerly Ericsson) Stadium (Charlotte, N.C.), M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore, Md.) and Oriole Park at Camden Yards (Baltimore, Md.).

Evans later became Director of Risk Management at HOK's Corporate Legal Department in St. Louis and then a Senior Vice President and Regional Director of Operations for HOK's North Central Region.

Evans has more than 25 years of experience in the architecture industry. He was Director of Architecture at Peckham, Guyton, Albers & Viets, Inc. in Colorado Springs, Colo., responsible for new construction and renovation for K-12 educational facilities and commercial interiors. Most recently, he was Director of Operations for the multidiscipline firm Treanor Architects, P.A. in Lawrence, Kan.

Evans is a member of the Advisory Board for the University of Kansas School of Architecture, Design and Planning and holds Bachelor of Environmental Design and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from the university.
