Joe Calvarese has more than 35
years of global architecture experience with specialization in the federal
market working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC and other
government agencies. He has successfully led A/E IDIQ and Multiple Award Design/Build
marketing pursuits for work with the federal government since 1994. His largest
win was an IDIQ for NAVFAC that was worth $50 million in fee over five years.
In his role as federal studio leader in the Los Angeles district, Calvarese
works collaboratively with HNTB Federal to continue to grow the firm’s federal
architecture practice. He also works with other HNTB Architecture practice
leaders nationwide to assist with their growth objectives for current and
future work. Calvarese is a member of the American Institute of Architects and
a registered architect in Maryland, District of Columbia, and New York.
