More firms are starting to be impacted by the economic slowdown. If there's a silver lining, it's that there seems to be a bit of relief in terms of the labor supply, with staff turnover rates falling.

Ian Rusk serves as ZweigWhite’s president and CEO, overseeing the firm’s broad array of publications, educational programs, industry conferences and advisory services, and ultimately keeping the firm focused on its core mission of helping leaders in the architecture, engineering and environmental consulting industries achieve their business and personal goals.

For the past eleven years at ZweigWhite, Ian has personally worked with hundreds of architecture, engineering and environmental consulting firms, large and small, throughout the U.S. and abroad with a focus on ownership planning, business valuation, mergers & acquisitions, and strategic planning. He conducts numerous seminars on these and other business topics and is a frequent speaker at various industry and trade conferences.

Ian is a professionally trained and accredited business appraiser and holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation with the American Society of Appraisers.Professional affiliations include membership in the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO), and national allied membership in the American Institute of Architects (AIA).Prior to joining ZweigWhite, Ian spent 10 years in the banking & finance industry as a lender and financial analyst where he provided financial services to middle market firms in many industries, including the AEC industry.
