Going International: Lessons Learned from the A/E Market in China
While the U.S. market is still in a very slow recovery process, U.S. A/E firms may opt to pursue emerging markets outside of the country like China which offers more business opportunities.  While the journey can be fruitful, it can be also risky with ample uncertainties.  Globalization is shaping the way business is operated and is impacting A/E firm’s top line as well as bottom line.  Decoding the process will help A/E firms make a decision on how and when to set up a global operation.  These are questions any size firm should think through.

In this webinar, Kitty Li, Founder and CEO of the LIK Group, discusses how to go about expanding your business to foreign countries like China where her firm has a number of projects. Kitty talks about the good and bad reasons why small to large size firms decide to enter the China market, the impact on their operations and how to establish the right proposition in the China market. Kitty also answers the ultimate question -- can it be a profitable business? The answer may be the secret that no American firm would reveal in public but she will show you an insider’s view.
