John is the author of Making Government Great Again:  Mapping the Road to Success with ISO 9001:2008 (ASQ Quality Press, 2009) and an award-winning public speaker who has spoken at locations throughout the United States and Canada on the subject of ISO 9001 and quality management in the civil engineering industry.  John is a registered professional engineer with over 20 years experience in the planning, design and construction of large scale public works.  John graduated in 1990 from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
